Aluprof MB-MT50N Curtain Wall System
The Aluprof MB-MT50N system is designed for the construction of lightweight suspended and infill curtain walls, glazed roofs, skylights, and other spatial structures. This system aligns with Cradle to Cradle Certification® guidelines, emphasizing sustainable development and the circular economy concept. It features optimized profiles, profile durability, and accessories that facilitate on-site installation. The system is available in two thermal versions, each equipped with innovative insulators made from a combination of two materials.
Technical Specifications
The mullion depth ranges from 20 to 250 mm, and the first row transom depth ranges from 20 to 254.5 mm, while the second row transom depth ranges from 85 to 175 mm. The mullion rigidity (Ix ratio) ranges from 26.76 to 1665.22 cm⁴, and the transom rigidity (Ix ratio) ranges from 3.49 to 950.59 cm⁴. The glazing thickness accommodates 20 to 64 mm.
Performance
The MB-MT50N system meets stringent performance criteria, including air permeability of AE 1950 as per EN 12152, water tightness of RE 1950 according to EN 12154, wind load resistance up to ±3000 Pa in compliance with EN 13116, and impact resistance rated I5/E5 under EN 14019.
The MB-MT50N system offers designers extensive flexibility to create complex façade structures while ensuring ease of use and high performance. It integrates seamlessly with operable elements based on Aluprof’s classic window and door systems, as well as specialized façade systems, such as tilt or tilt-and-slide windows and roof windows.

- Ease of Assembly: The socket of the central mullion and transom is open for assembly by screwing without additional drilling, and the half-mullion simplifies assembly with a new sealing system.
